Job Purpose

This role acts as a critical link between business needs and technical MDM implementation, aiming to maintain a clean, consistent, and trustworthy master data repository that supports enterprise-wide analytics and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute master data management strategies and policies specifically for customer, vendor, or other critical data domains.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through regular data cleansing, validation, and standardization activities.
• Assigning Credit Limits to Customers, Vendors as per Company norms and continuously tracking actual credit against Limits assigned.
• Independently Customer Financials Position tracking and before hand highlight any red-flag.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and align MDM practices with operational needs.
• Manage data integration, migration, and synchronization processes using MDM software and data integration tools.
• Enforce data governance policies, including data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support training and awareness for data stewards and other stakeholders on MDM processes and policies.
• Assist in the design and optimization of data workflows, modeling, and architecture related to master data.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams to ensure understanding and adherence to data management standards.

Educational Qualifications

Desired Profile (Experience)

• Proven experience in master data management or related data governance role.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality standards, and stewardship.
• Experience with master data management platforms and data integration tools.
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and database management.
