Job Purpose
To monitor and take care of all production activities, machine operations & quality controls to ensure smooth functioning of assigned production line/unit or both
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible to achieve planned production targets for the business
• Responsible for planning of manpower and machine allocation for smooth functioning of production activities
• Ensure process control on shop floor to comply with all quality standard at various process check points
• Plan and ensure timely production to deliver sales turnover as targeted
• Ensure workplace safety by reduction in No. of LTI on shop floor
• Responsible to ensure manufacturing as per customer requirements and in accordance to the manufacturing plan
• Maintained first time pass of new samples
• Monitor all finishing standard according to customer specification
• Record and maintain daily production reports
Educational Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma in Footwear Manufacture Technology
Desired Profile (Experience)
• 8 - 10 years of experience in similar role
• Should have strong knowledge of production, mechanical operations specific to leather finishing unit, workplace safety practices & implementation of same
• Must have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing system
• Must have experience in handing large number of employees
• Coordination skills & ability to lead team with people with different geography
• Should have ability to communicate with various department for smooth functioning of production activities
• Willing to work in 24x7 operations
