Job Purpose
Responsible to ensure effective Full Shoe Manufacturing Operations for the assigned unit/division
Key Responsibilities
- Capacity planning for assigned division for Full Shoe Manufacturing
- Ensure Delivery Compliance as per production planning, quality & manufacturing norms
- Control Manufacturing Cost
- Periodical Reporting (Daily / Weekly / Monthly) of all functional performance related to production
- Adherence to the Planned / Preventative Maintenance Schedule in consultation with Engineering Services
- Ensure high standards of Safety, House Keeping and Customer Compliances to be followed in shop-floor
- Ensure high morale, team work, and good employee relations at shop-floor
Supervise & authorize tasks as directed by Manager
Educational Qualifications
Graduate in Footwear Manufacturing Technology
Desired Profile (Experience)
- 8 - 10 years of experience in similar role
- Should have strong knowledge of production, mechanical operations specific to leather finishing unit, workplace safety practices & implementation of same
- Must have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing system
- Must have experience in handing large number of employees
- Coordination skills & ability to lead team with people with different geography
- Should have ability to communicate with various department for smooth functioning of production activities
- Willing to work in 24x7 operations
