Job Purpose
Support services in operation, documentation & various back office documentation needs of the business
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of Bulk/Break-Bulk and container shipments
- Freight Management
- Preparation of Pre-Shipment & Post-Shipment documentation
- LC issuance and coordinates and negotiate with banks for the better rates
- Shipping Instructions (SI) and Letter of Credit (LC) received/prepared are compliant
- Timely updates sent to Sellers and Buyers (counterparties) on vessel nomination and conformance in-place from counterparties
- Monitor loading/discharge operations
- Timely updates sent to Buyers on the vessel status
- Timely creation, execution and settlement of vessels, parcels and contracts in ERP system
- Contractual Notices to counterparties.
- Contract management-Finalization and preparation of contracts
- Warehousing / Inventory management
- Coordination with Custom House Agents, shipping lines, suppliers, Millers, Overseas customers
- Compliance of Statutory requirements
- Well versed with international execution documentation, handling of LCs, CAD payments Liaising with banks, official authorities.
- Request for processing of vendor invoices, debit/credit notes are sent to Finance team within agreed timelines
- Timely submission of Shipping documents to Regional/Global Business Team for presentation to banks
- Insurance booked is as per the contract & shipment
- Follow-up with counterparties & resolve discrepancies related documents
- Month-end closing & reporting process
- Preparation of MIS/monthly KPI for senior managements
- Knowledge in handling high seas sales & Purchase documents
- KYC/KYS updates in ERP system
- Frequent Travel to the ports and overseas locations as and when required
Educational Qualifications
Graduate with Professional qualification in MBA finance, preference  a course in documentation in CDCS
Desired Profile (Experience)
- Experience of minimum 2-4 years in handling Agri commodites documentation for trading houses
- Should have local tax knowledge and experience
- Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred, with relevant experience in bulk, break-bulk and container shipments
- Should have knowledge FOSFA/GAFTA/PORAM
