Job Purpose

To develop sales plan for the region and achieve sales targets through the sales teams in line with business objectives

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Appoint dealers and distributor as per company’s norms and targets
  • Resolve day to day issues of dealers and distributors.
  • Sales Projection and growth for the region on monthly basis.
  • Assess market size, reach and penetration – Data analysis of market share and shop share; plan schemes to capture target market shares
  • Accountable for overall payments realizations, accounts reconciliation of distributors and dealers, control over credit including credit proposals.
  • Responsible for preparing strategy for the region to counter competition and prepare growth plan for the region.
  • Conduct team reviews to track progress.
  • Send feedback and market reports to quality and operations for actionable points

Educational Qualifications

Graduation + MBA

Desired Profile (Experience)

  • Between 12-15 years of relevant sales experience
  • High level of business acumen and market understanding
  • Able to visualize and access problem and offer market solutions
  • Good knowledge/ experience of Eastern India market

Industry Preference
