Job Purpose

To complete PDI inspection of vehicles as per delivery schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect new vehicles into the bond within same day of arrival. • Report new vehicle status after receiving. • Report and document accidents, missing items and irregular performance of new vehicles received. • Follow up repairs of the above until completion. • Carry out bond inspection and PDI of new vehicle before end month. • Delivery of new vehicles to customer free of defects • File PDI and inspection sheet for record purposes and follow-up. • Report any observations (problems) on new vehicles. • Return all parts removed from the vehicles after PDI. • Inform Workshop Supervisor on completion status of PDI. • Report any reasons for delay of assigned tasks. • Keep good custody of all assigned tools • Ensure safety precautions at the workshop and Bond at all times
