Job Purpose

Responsible for maintenance of mechanical, electrical and other technical support to upkeep the plant machinery in order to support production team in achieving the production target without breakdown

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to execute engineering and maintenance activities for running the plan smoothly
• Responsible to execute the plan as per requirement of engineering and maintenance to upkeep the plant, machinery & utility services
• Responsible for preventive maintenance of machines & all equipment to ensure optimum utilization of machinery
• Take care of all equipment of plant, ETP, RO, Boiler, DG and compressor room
• Provide support to production team in running all the equipment with full capacity
• Prepare and adhere inspection schedule of respective equipment in the plant
• Responsible for cleaning, lubrication & inspection of all equipment as per schedule
• Ensure to create safety culture within the work area to minimize the risk of accident
• Ensure to have work permit before starting of work and adhere the safety measures before starting of work
• Responsible for various types of internal and external audits and fulfil the requirement of audit by ensure all the items at place
• Responsible for adherence of safety norms in the plant and use/provide appropriate PPEs
• Ensure safety and security of employees

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering / Diploma - Electrical / Mechanical

Desired Profile (Experience)

• 3-5 Years of experience in heading safety department
• Must be a “C” certification holder
• Should have strong knowledge about maintenance operations
• Must have knowledge of 5S, Kaizen & CLIT
• Should have knowledge of QMS & EHS & other audits
• Should have strong Electrical / Mechanical knowledge
