Job Purpose

This position is responsible for Managerial Position & Development of Overall Tannery

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Goal-Oriented Leadership and Team Management
  • Demonstrate strong goal – oriented leadership to guide, motivate & supportive with Colleagues.
  • Manage overall staff performance & ensure each of production & supportive teams meet their individual targets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings & review performance of team, promote productivity align with company goal.
  • Production efficiency & Timeline
  • Meet monthly production target by optimal utilization of resource allocations & time management.
  • Plan & implement production Schedules to ensure the timely delivery of leather products.
  • Continuous Improvement of production efficiency to minimize down time & lead time of each production phase.
  1. Quality control & Assurance throughout production, Defect identification
  • Identify & Manage quality standards for leather products ensure consistency throughout production.
  • Detect and address defects in raw hides and skins early in the production process to minimize waste.
  • Conduct quality checks and collaborate with the quality assurance team to meet client and industry standards.
  1. Environmental Management and Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, focusing on reducing operational impact.
  • Manage waste disposal, water treatment, and chemical usage according to Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines.
  • Maintain certifications (e.g., LWG) and successfully complete environmental audits by implementing eco-friendly practices.
  1. Social Compliance and Workplace Safety
  • Achieve compliance with social standards, including health, safety, and labor laws, through regular compliance audits
  • Promote a safe working environment, conducting regular safety training and drills for all team members.
  • Achieve zero workplace incidents by enforcing safety protocols and maintaining safety equipment.
  1. Supply Chain and Raw Material Management
  • Efficiently purchase and manage raw material supplies, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain a steady flow of materials, reducing stock shortages and production delays.
  • Optimize inventory levels to prevent excess or shortage of supplies, balancing cost with production needs

Supervise & authorize tasks as directed by Manager

Educational Qualifications

Desired Profile (Experience)

  1. He must have good leadership skills and take in charge of overall tannery operations
  2. Good Communication with English, Hindi & Local Language.
  3. Good Negotiation skills

Positive attitude, goal oriented with the ability to Handel versatile situation and maintain foster strong relationships
